BESPOKE BICYCLE
L’Ecurie houses the manufacturing of tailor made bicycle frames and forks. Build with high quality Reynolds steel tubings, they are unique, fits you like a glove and are painted with the color of your choice.
Riding a bespoke steel bike is a one-of-a-kind experience. Not that it will makes you ride faster, your legs will, but with a nicely tuned set of tubings, careful fit and the right choice of components, the bicycle will work for you, not against you.

A custom frame and fork kit is priced around 1600€ depending the options and alloys. Lead time is around two to three monthes.
If custom frame is out of your scope, I can also offer builds from existing frame of renowned manufacturer such as Ritchey, Surly, Salsa...
GENERAL MAINTENANCE & REPAIR
No matter the price, the brand or the mileage, your bicycle needs care and maintenance. The good thing with most bikes, is that they are fully serviceable and repairable.
The workshop offers fullscale service for your bike. From general maintenance to small routine check up - brake pads replacement, flat tires, overall rebuild, transmition upgrade, wheel truing and much more...
Any repair will be tidely estimated before go, and the time frame turns around a week. Small repairs like flat tires in one or two days. It is recommended to bring your bike clean whenever possible.
I also offer a choice of stock components or can help you to chose and order what you might need for your bike.

WHEEL LACING
Lacing your own wheel is a lost art. Wheels are important part of the bike, they need to stay true, carry the load, last forever and be servicable.
Machine build wheels are ok but lacks the fine tuning and carefull stress relieving of handbuild wheels. Off-the-shelf wheels are cheaper but are often restricted in choices. Custom wheels allows for more options and is a nice addition to your bike.

Lacing a wheel cost 90€ plus parts. Allow two weeks production time.
FRAME REPAIR & MODIFICATION
Steel frames last long, but they’re not invicible. They bend under extreme load, they crack, they rust, sometimes even break!
Seat post get stuck, derailleur hangers get ripped, threads worned out or sometimes (often) industry standards get old fashionned.
Old school bikes are not dead, tubes can be replaced, cracks can be welded, frame can be realigned, forks can be bend back, threads can be chased and seat post can be removed, most of the time.
